J.T.M. Food Group to Announce Winner of First-Ever K12 Crave Competition at ANC 2022


HARRISON, OH – June 10, 2022 – J.T.M. Food Group’s Education Team announced they will be crowning the winner of its first-ever K-12 Crave Competition at the School Nutrition Association’s Annual National Conference (ANC) taking place July 10-12 in Orlando, Florida.

 

Applicants submitted their best recipes utilizing products from J.T.M’s K-12 product line for an experienced team of K-12 Chefs to review and test. Judges reviewed over 50 crave-able recipe submissions from schools all over the country before narrowing the list down to the Top 20 and Top 4 recipe finalists.

 

“J.T.M. has been proudly serving schools across the country for over 30 years,” said Amy McAdams, Senior Director Education Marketing for J.T.M. Food Group. “The past two years have been especially challenging for school nutrition programs. Despite the supply chain disruptions, labor issues, and ever-changing COVID-19 protocols, they persevered and continued to create great dishes for their students and staff.  We wanted to shine a light on their passion and creativity and this contest has been a great way to do that.”

 

The Top 4 Crave Competition finalists include:

  • Buffalo Chicken Melt from Callaway High School in Hogansville, GA
  • Cowboy Quesadilla from Callaway Elementary School in Hogansville, GA
  • Fiesta Pizza from Ridley High School in Folsom, PA
  • Loaded Al Pastor Curly Fries from Hartford Central School in Hartford, NY

The Top 20 crave-able recipe submissions will go on to be included in J.T.M.’s K-12 Crave Collection Recipe Book being distributed at ANC 2022 but only one of the Top 4 finalists will be crowned the winner of the K-12 Crave Competition and receive the grand prize trip to ANC 2023.
